Security Systems Technician

**MaxTech Security Systems** is currently seeking a Security Systems Technician for a full time, permanent position. Looking for a skilled and highly technical individual with installation &
trouble shooting along with extensive experience working with complex security systems.
We are a growing company with a commercial client base all across Canada.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience with service &
install on Integrated Security Systems
- Experience project planning, installing &
troubleshooting IP Cameras, DVR's/NVR's, commercial alarm systems and card access control.
- Experience pulling &
fishing cable through walls, drop ceilings &
conduit as well as terminating all types of cable ends.
- Neat &
efficient work habits
- Experience in Networking, switches
- Strong verbal &
written skills as well as interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work some evenings &
weekends based on client requirements
- Ability to work on ladders, qualified to operate scissor and boom lifts
- Experience in use of test equipment such as multi-meter and tone generator
- Setup and configure IP addresses for cameras and computer equipment
- Setup computer Hardware &
Software
- Install,program and test DSC products, including Power-Series, Maxsys and Neo
- Ability to trouble shoot problems and provide solutions
**The following Qualifications &

- Experience with the following brands:
Keyscan, Kantech, Avigilon, DMP, Genetec
- Diploma in Electronics Technician/Technology or IT related discipline
- Strong work ethic:
setting and achieving goals.
- Self motivated:
working effectively with minimum of supervision and direction
**Employment Requirements**:
- Must be able to provide a clean police records check on offer of employment
- Must have a drivers license with a clean driving record
**Experience**
- Alarm Systems Field Service/Installation:
Minimum 3 years (required)
**Education**:
- High School or equivalent (required)
**Salary**:
$25.00-$35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
