Senior Information Technology Business Analyst

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work LocationRemote Security RequirementMust be eligible for a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Clearance. Key TasksProvide analysis expertise in developing and deploying Business systems enhancements as requested by the user communityParticipate in production support activities as a member of a 2nd level support teamSupport team with business processes and environment to help define the requirements as expected from the business usersAssist team in the coordination between the business users and scrum team members so that the vendor and our internal teams of production support activities for our financial applicationsSupport Quality Assurance efforts including unit test and production deploymentHelp team in applying best practices of Agile methodology within the development team as requiredAssist team to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external counterpartsOngoing activities and deliverable, as required Key QualificationsA minimum of 10+ years of demonstrated work experience in application development and systems integration as a Business AnalystA minimum of seven 5+ years of demonstrated experience working within a financial services sector market environmentA minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated experience working with an external vendor providing a COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) tool QualificationsDemonstrated knowledge of the competencies as defined by the BABOK (Business Analysis Book of Knowledge)Demonstrated active participation in Application Support activitiesDemonstrated knowledge of structured analysis techniques and development tools as applied to business processes, automated systems and workflow analysis AssetsDemonstrated experience with ION Findur tool applicationDemonstrated knowledge with MuleSoft integrationsDemonstrated knowledge of Canada's capital marketsDemonstrated knowledge in Oracle database to analyze database views and database query About LeverageTek IT SolutionsThank you for taking the time to apply!
