YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITYReporting to the Director of Operations – Community Mental Health and Wellness this Senior Manager will sit at CMHA’s senior leadership table and build upon the strengths of our existing service delivery, while maintaining partnerships and programs currently offered both internal and external. As a key contact for external stakeholders, you will use your business acumen and progressive lens to reflect on our internal resources, staff capacity, stakeholders, and the existing partnerships amongst the Community Mental Health &
Wellness department as you consider future opportunities for CMHA – Calgary.Who YOU AREThe Senior Manager, Program Integration is committed to building upon the strengths of our existing programs and leading our internal projects that will expand our program reach into the community. Using a change management approach, you’ll garner support from colleagues to implement program changes, program innovations and introduce new initiatives into the department.Your experience in program management, the ability to streamline programs and manage internal capacity projects are your superpowers. In addition, you have an innate ability to nurture mutually beneficial partnerships within the community CMHA Calgary serves. You are viewed as a role model to staff and your empathetic approach in dealing with tough subjects pertaining to mental health and/or addiction issues are critical to your success. WHAT YOU BRINGMinimum of an undergraduate degree in a human service field (recreation, education, psychology, social work, nursing, sociology) is required.A minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience, with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively coach and mentor a team with diverse personal and professional backgrounds.A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a mental health setting is required.Experience in partnership management and community engagement considered an asset. PMP and change management designations considered an asset. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a high level of initiative, self-motivation, and self-management.Demonstrated leadership with the ability to work effectively with people, conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making skills.High level of initiative, self-motivation, self-awareness, and self-management.Additional requirementsAbility to be adaptable to the role’s mix of sitting, standing and moving, with a balance between computer-based work and verbal communication.
