**Skilled Labourer**
ICD is currently seeking Labourers for a **3-month fixed term contract** to support their growing needs. These positions are located at Red Chris Mine Site, on an attractive fourteen (14) day on/fourteen (14) day off rotation, working twelve (12) hour day shifts. This is a camp position that is fly in/fly out from the Main Hubs located in:
- Vancouver, BC
- Nanaimo, BC
- Calgary, AB
- Smithers, BC
- Prince George, BC
- Kamloops, BC
- Kelowna, BC
**Some duties required for this position include, but are not limited to**:
- Minor mechanical duties and aptitude
- Assisting the dewatering team in performing tasks such as:
- Moving equipment (ex. Pumps, piping, etc.)
- Cleaning screens and components
- Fueling pumps
- Rigging and hoisting, as well as basic installation procedures
- Bolting and unbolting
- Cleanup and pressure washing
- Operating company vehicles to move items
- Manpower around the job and between sites
- Participate in all HSE meetings
- Participate in Safe Work Practices, including inspecting vehicles, tools, equipment, and PPE
- Use standard operating procedures and safe work practices specific to project duties and client site requirements
- Other duties as requested by the supervisor or manager
**Requirements**:
- Ability to work underground 50% of the time
- 2-3 years of experience working in a similar role
- Capable of using hand tools
- Ability to lift twenty-three (23) kilogram (50lbs) repeatedly
- Comprehensive alcohol and drug test clearance letter
- Copy of valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Copy of current 3- 5-year clean driver’s abstract
- Copies of training certificates
