Social Media And Marketing Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- support activities of CSAGSS as per its mission and vision and assist in day-to-day Social media tasks and marketing activities.
- Photography and videography skills, social media assistance, managing social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram management of CSAGSS. Highly proficient in adobe cloud apps (Photoshop/illustrator, premeire, etc.)
- Handling social media and marketing weekly and support in storyline building
- Reaching out to donors and sending a weekly newsletter.
- Supporting other staff and volunteers in the food bank in day to day activities
- Working closely with fundraisers and staff, helping volunteer management, support client intakes as per CSAGSS food bank policy.
- Prepare &
design all marketing materials for social media, unaddressed mailing distributions, Newsletter/e-newsletters campaigns, brochures, etc.
- Efficiently manage video and photography and create campaigns and maintaining content for the website.
- Ensuring all network marketing materials are accurate, and up to date for the website and social media.
- Assisting with content generation, scheduling, editing and publishing;
following and meaningful engagement with our followers on Social media.
- Attend meetings with clusters and groups/stakeholders and take minutes, update management accordingly and writing and proofreading creative copy, monitoring the performance of marketing campaigns
- Contributing ideas to marketing campaigns while conducting research and analyzing data to identify and define audiences.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-Secondary Level of educated is Mandatory
- Education in marketing, digital media and/or film/video production or a related field.
- Ability to do heavy lifting.
- Advanced Proficiency in Google suite and Excel Preferred (Microsoft office skills)
- Must have film/video and editing skills.
- Strong organization and time management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong facilitation and public speaking skills
- Must have solid skills on Canva or other graphic design software.
**Requirements to Qualify for Canada Summer Jobs position**:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment;
and,
- Have a validSocial Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
**Ability to Commute/Relocate**:
Able to commute to various program locations within Scarborough before starting work. (preferred)
Accessible to a vehicle and Driving is an Asset
