University Canada West is looking to hire a Social Media Coordinator, Influencer Marketing to join our award-winning in-house Marketing and Communications team. This position will report directly to the Marketing Manager – social media. Our ideal candidate has previous experience with Social Media influencers and/or brand ambassador management. This role will work closely with other members of the Marketing and Communications Team.The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for researching, managing, and onboarding our Student Brand Ambassador and Influencer programs. If you are a self-motivated social media savvy individual who is able to work both independently as well as in a fast-paced team environment, we want to hear from you.Specific Responsibilities:
Manage the UCW social media influencer and student brand ambassador programsResearch and onboard new influencers and student brand ambassadorsManage the brand ambassador schedules and ensure timeline submission of timesheetsCollaborate with social media influencers on various marketing campaignsCreate high-quality video content (for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook Reels)Assist with achieving the team’s KPIs on all our social platformsSupport the marketing department by creating, scheduling, and posting social media content as well as other marketing content when neededStay up to date with researching current marketing and social media trends for all our social media platformsAssist with monthly reports specifically for student brand ambassador and influencer programsCollaborate as needed with other teams and stakeholdersAssist with responding to messages, and comments during busy times of the termUse social media tools to improve efficiency and manage all accounts effectivelyProvide additional support to the Marcom team as requiredAttend and cover UCW events when neededAssist with other marketing activities as neededPosition Requirements:

Strong communication and people skillsStrong attention to detail and management skillsHas a creative mindset with the ability to deliver creative text, image, and video content, as well as give feedback to other creators on their contentAbility to research and onboarding new influencers and student brand ambassadorsKnowledge and experience working with multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and PinterestMust be an organized multitasker able to handle many projects at once and meet tight deadlinesWorking knowledge of computer, design, and email software skills.Ability to be a self-starter who can work both on campus and remotelyAbility to grasp future digital technology trends and act on them proactivelyEducation and Experience:
