Your role will involve:
Participating in all phases of the design, development, and implementation of our equipment and systems.Developing machine concepts and detailed designs in Autodesk Inventor. This may include plant layouts, board handling equipment or bulk material handling equipment. Includes both original equipment design as well as the integration of Gyptech equipment with purchased equipment from vendors.Researching and analyzing requirements and technical specifications to satisfy the end-userInterfacing with customers, vendors and managers to determine project scope, requirements, deliverables, budget, costing and schedules.Providing onsite installation, troubleshooting, commissioning and maintenance support for our equipment in the field.Reviewing designs with our fabrication shop and others to ensure consistent design, fabrication and quality specifications.This position is based out of our head office in Burlington with a requirement for regular international travel.What You OfferHands-on experience in mechanical design and 3D modelling.A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering and a solid understanding of engineering design principles.Heavy machinery design, installation or maintenance would be an asset.Fabrication or Commissioning experience would be an asset.Bulk material handling/process knowledge would be an asset.Gypsum Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and we would like to thank all applicants for their interest.
