Main functions:
As Manager, you will be responsible for aiding in the effective management of all crew and completion of all duties required for the successful functioning of Pita Pit. You will be expected to lead by example, provide exceptional customer service, and guide crew members in all aspects of their job. You will be responsible for helping to recruit and train new crew, scheduling, maintaining appropriate store operations, implementing proper procedures, and following policies. You will be a contributing member to the organizational effectiveness of Pita Pit in all necessary areas.Reports to:
General Manager or OwnerDuties:
1.Team management includes but not limited to:
Hiring new team members, training new team members, communicating with team members and providing feedback, motivating team members, creating work schedules, computing labour hours, ensuring tasks are assigned accordingly, able to recognize an issue and resolve it if possible or report it in a timely manner, maintaining labor costs within Pita Pit guidelines, maintaining and performing team member performance reviews and collecting datateam member files to ensure that reviews are accurate, issuing written and verbal warnings2.Maintaining inventory and communicating stock levels, maintaining food costs within Pita Pit guidelines3.Food preparation including but not limited to:
Rolling pitas, slicing and cutting vegetables and meats, weighing food, making cookies, making smoothies, grilling vegetables and meats, and following recipes4.Operation of various equipment including but not limited to:
Oven, grill, pita warmer, pita press, blender, vegetable chopper, and knives5.Stocking and restocking display cases, coolers, and front station to Pita Pit guidelines6.Cleanup and sanitization including but not limited to:
Bathrooms, preparation area, display cases, customer service area, walk-in fridges and freezers, floors, and storage areas7.Practicing good organizational skills8.Taking orders and serving customers within Pita Pit standards and values9.Operating the cash registers including but not limited to:
Accepting various types of tenders from customers, providing proper change to customers, balancing cash drawer and receipts, documenting discrepancies10.Understanding and implementing core values and pledge11.Adhere to Pita Pit uniform standards12.Implement an awareness of all promotions and advertisements13.Resolving customer concernsWorking conditions:
