Straight Truck Driver (Commercial Driving Exp. Req. )

The **Class G Driver **delivers loads to customers in a manner that will improve the company’s efficiency, help achieve the company’s mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service.
- Key Responsibilities:
_
- Perform pick-ups and deliveries with company owned/leased commercial **straight truck** not to exceed 11,000 kg
- Service area up to 200 km radius from Terminal
- Lifting up to 100lbs
- Loading and unloading with forklift, pallet jack, or by hand
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route destinations, parking, break period, etc.)
- Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
- Accurately maintain appropriate records
- Work in the warehouse when no driving or deliveries are available
- Other duties as requested

- Requirements:
_
- Minimum 3 years' experience
- Valid and clean G license
- Experience driving small to mid-sized commercial vehicles
- Required to work Monday to Friday
- Able to lift 40 - 50 lbs
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail a must
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- PPE required:
Safety vest, Steel toe boots &
protective gloves
