Up North Adventures is looking for canoe/kayak guides to lead many of our amazing tours on some of Yukon?s best waterways. We are looking for guides that are willing to lead day, and multi-day trips throughout the summer season. For multi day trips you will be responsible for their trip plan based off of pre-planned itineraries, food prep and purchase, and gear prep and clean up.
Successful applicants must be flexible with their work scheduleand able to work weekends and holidays. Guides will be expected to help run our shuttles across the Yukon/northern BC and potentially help tour services staff in our rental yard.
**Requirements**:
40hr to 80hr wilderness first aid certification or equivalent
Class 4 drivers license or ability to attain one before.
Canoeing/kayak experience
Previous guiding experience
Fluent in English ? oral and written multiple language an asset
Permitting/ability to work in Canada
