Napier Outdoors is searching for an energetic, organized, detail oriented and analytical Supply Chain Specialist to add to our growing team.
**YOUR MISSION**
The Supply Chain Specialist will play a lead role in coordinating the distribution of products through outbound order processing and inbound shipments from overseas. You are responsible for all logistics and inventory activities and accountable for maintaining excellent service levels through accurate data entry, continuous process improvement and the prompt resolution of issues.
**Outbound Order Processing**
- **Order Processing**:
Obtain, enter and manage daily orders (30-300 orders per day) in a timely manner
- **Shipping Documentation**:
Prepare labels, packing slips, BOL’s, ASN’s etc.
- **Freight Bookings**:
Obtain shipping quotes, process routing requests, schedule carriers.
**Inventory Management &
Logistics**
- **Inventory Control**:
Monitor and control inventory levels, solve inventory discrepancies, conduct inventory transfers, prepare inventory overages or shortcoming reports
- **Container Shipments**:
Schedule freight forwarders and custom brokers, negotiate rates, ensure on-time delivery, review documentation for accuracy.
- **Warehouse transfers**:
Analyze inventory levels for transfer, prepare customs documentation, schedule freight.
**Other**
- **EDI**:
Manage the EDI infrastructure including understanding requirements, development with third party suppliers and implementation
- **Warehouse Manuals**:
Development and implement processes and procedures to adhere to customer vendor compliance programs;
train warehouse staff on order requirements, monitor warehouse QA issues and resolve issues
- **Administrative tasks**:
Answer incoming calls and all customer inquiries, process A/R and A/P
**EXPERIENCE &
TALENTS**
- Strong ability to multitask and highly detail oriented are essential skills required to succeed within this role
- Analytical and problem solving skills assuming responsibility and taking ownership
- Must be able to juggle a dozen+ projects at one time
- Experience with ERP system an asset (NetSuite)
- 3+ years of supply chain, administrative or customer service experience
