The Peel District School Board (PDSB) is a racially, culturally and linguistically diverse board that serves 155,000+ students and approximately 17,000 employees. We currently have a opportunity for a TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST - (Contract to August 31, 2023)
Job Duties/Responsibilities and Details
This is a day shift position and the 7 hours will be between 7:
00 a.M. to 6:
00 p.M.
Experience and Qualifications
Mandatory Education / Certification
Post secondary education in applicable discipline
A minimum of two years experience in technical support of PC/LAN environments
Experience with the following is mandatory;
Expertise with MS Windows, MS Office Suite, Apple Technology, TCPIP, Wireless and Ethernet Networks, Mobile Technology, Active Directory and SCCM, and Tablet Technology
Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with Board personnel technical staff
Must possess an automobile and have a valid driver's license
Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse school community and/or work environment
Record of satisfactory on-the-job performance while employed by the Peel District School Board
Experience with the following an asset;
MS Sharepoint
