SUMMARY OF TASKS
The incumbent will be responsible for the preparation and processing of accounting information and act as a support for the cost accounting team, specifically in regard to warehouse, distribution, transportation and supply activities. The technician must assist the accounting team on all activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare weekly variance reports (actual vs. standard);
- Prepare accounting data for monthly financial statements;
- Provide support to regional activities according to the specialization of the position (distribution, warehouse, transportation);
- Perform data entry ;
- Participate in the preparation of annual budgets;
- Support the accounting team in their daily activities;
- Perform any otherrelated tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College diploma in accounting, administration or equivalent;
- Have a minimum of1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position in the manufacturing industry;
- Bilingualism (spoken and written) is essential;
- Good knowledge ofExcel;
- Knowledge of BI, Maestro and SAP (asset);
- Good organizational and planning skills;
- Ability to multi-task independently or as part of a team;
- Ability to process information quickly under tight deadlines.
