This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of transportation and procurement processes.Location:

Mon-Fri, 40 hoursWhat you will doFleet Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive fleet management strategy to ensure optimal utilization, maintenance, and safety of the company's transportation assets. Monitor and analyze fleet performance, fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline fleet operations, enhance productivity, and reduce operational expenses.Procurement Strategy:
Lead the development and execution of a strategic procurement plan for the acquisition of goods and services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage vendor relationships, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.Implement procurement best practices, including sourcing, supplier diversity, risk management, and cost optimization.Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to fleet operations and procurement activities. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and maintain a strong adherence to compliance requirements.Cost Management and Budget Oversight:
Develop and manage budgets for the fleet and procurement functions, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectiveness. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives to achieve financial targets and improve overall operational efficiency.Team Leadership and Development:
Provide strong leadership and guidance to the fleet and procurement teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities in fleet management and procurement practices. Establish performance metrics and conduct regular performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement and achieve departmental goals.Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align fleet and procurement strategies with organizational objectives and long-term business plans.
