Server**
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Server to join our dynamic team at Casa Toscana. As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests by providing impeccable service, genuine hospitality, and showcasing your knowledge of Italian cuisine and culture.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm, creating a positive first impression.
- Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations and explaining dishes with detailed knowledge of ingredients, preparation, and wine pairings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are properly communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and attentively, ensuring high-quality presentation and adherence to Casa Toscana's standards.
- Monitor guests' dining experience, addressing any concerns or needs promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting and resetting tables with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service flow and maintain a cohesive guest experience.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue generation.
- Handle payment transactions accurately and efficiently, processing bills and providing appropriate change or processing credit card payments.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, and cleaning tasks.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine, and culinary culture is a strong asset.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a polished appearance.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
