Warehouse Labourer

Working out of our Leduc Facility, the Warehouse Labourer will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, as well as picking, packing and scanning orders for pickup and delivery in a high-volume and fast paced distribution environment.
**Essential Duties &
Responsibilities**
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory of product
- Load and unload in a safe and efficient manner
- Utilize computer to look-up information
- Communicate positively with supervisors, colleagues and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks and report on any discrepancies
- Observe all safety procedures, regulations, rules, and instruction in performance of job duties
- Housekeeping - keep warehouse areas organized, swept, clean and hazard free
- Follow Company policies and procedures on a daily basis
- Operate forklift on palletizing line
- Perform other duties as required
**Qualifications/Competencies**
The individual in this role will have:
- High School Diploma GED or equivalent
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures
- 2-5 years forklift and telehandler operation experience and/or ability to obtain certification
- Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 80 lbs for extended periods of time
- Adherence to all of SECURE’s Occupational Health and Safety Standards
- Basic computer skills, math skills, and be good with numbers
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently perform the job productively under tight deadlines
- Must have positive communication and interpersonal skills
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment screening including a drug &
alcohol test, fit for duty test, proof of a valid driver’s license and delivery of a satisfactory and current Driver’s Abstract
