Creative Door Services, North America’s largest overhead door dealer, operates nine branches across Western Canada and we have over 50 years of experience in the residential and commercial overhead door industry. We provide access solutions by servicing and installing a variety of overhead doors and driveway gate systems, operators and associated controls.
**Role**:
We have an immediate opening for a **Painter/Warehouse Worker **located in the **Edmonton **branch. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the laborer will usually work as part of a two-person crew, this position will assist in the painting and modification of residential or commercial doors while learning on the job from the Lead Warehouse Technician. This role is a permanent, full time position with opportunities for advancement.
**Responsibilities**:
- Painting, building, modification, and overlay of door panels.
- Works in a team setting and provides assistance to team members as needed.
- Conducts inventory checks and provides reports to Warehouse Manager. Maintains rolling inventory of continuous jobs per company policy and procedure.
- Conducts quality control checks on production.
- Keeps warehouse neat and organized. Keeps work areas clean and neat, with an overall cleaning weekly, and as needed. Places all materials in proper the areas.
- Logs in all deliveries and provides sample and quantity information to manager.
- Makes deliveries and pick-ups and gets appropriate signatures.
- Maintains cleanliness and service of company vehicle including such items as gas, oil changes, update inspection sticker, keep current insurance card in glove box.
- Creates recycle pallets and calls for pick-up.
- Has a general knowledge of industry standards, company policies, and procedures.
- At days end, ensures equipment has been turned off, and building is secured per company policy and procedures.

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
or one to three months related experience and/or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
