**Job Duties**
Working with and reporting directly to the Controller, this role offers the opportunity to be a critical team member by providing key support where needed, analytical, logical thinker, and have very strong attention to detail.
**Applicants**
- Comprehensive understanding of payroll laws and regulations, government remittance and programs, pensions, and benefits
- A good understanding of bookkeeping entries, familiarity with the regular routines of an accounting office
- Must be proficient in MS Excel
- Overall understanding of basic HR policies and practices
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with employees at all levels within the organization
- Previous experience with Pay Works - an asset
- Previous experience in a multi-company environment
