**About The Role**
**Responsibilities**:
- Design and maintain master key systems
- Rekey locks to customer requirement
- Assist in inventory control
- Follow policies for restricted key systems
- Prepare customer orders for field technicians
- Service and repair various locks, door hardware and other security devices
- Answering shop phones
- Parts preparation
- Prepare Electronic Security, service, and installations
- Pull wire;
program and calibrate equipment;
adhere to codes, regulations, and standards.
- Key cutting, pinning and fixing locks
- Electronic Security, service, and installations will be required from time to time
- Performing on-site services including configuration, commissioning and troubleshooting
- Other duties as required
**Job Requirements**
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Proven diagnostic skills able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems
- Experience with power tools is a definite asset
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Valid G driver’s license is mandatory
- Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a broad range of customer
- Self-motivated and calm under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Intermediate computer skills required
- Works well independently, takes direction well
- Clear criminal reference check
- The ability to lift in excess of 25 Kilos
- Must be willing to undertake a criminal background check on an annual basis
- Punctual and reliable
