Fuse is on a mission to accelerate the world’s transition to fusion energy. Our core product is TITAN:
an Impedance Matched Marx Generator (IMG). TITAN is the most efficient and powerful (TW) machine of its kind. Fusers have built and licensed Magical Unicorn and FAETON I, 2 novel pulsed power generators. You are joining an early-stage fusion company. Please expect to wear different hats and take 0 to 1 ownership of objectives. Changing the world is hard but honorable and fulfilling. You should expect to work extremely hard to make a dent. This is not a regular job. Fusers are on a mission to change the world and get shit done. As an Electrical Engineer at Fuse, you are building to the limit of what is possible and advancing pulsed power technology. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience 1+ years' experience in schematic &
layout design for PCB'susing Altium Designer or equivalent software(s) 1+ years' experience in simulating electronic circuits using SPICE 1+ years' proven experience in configuring and managing Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems Knowledge of sensors and calibration techniques Demonstrated experience working on a team and delivering results Ability and willingness for bi-coastal travel Desirable Skills C++ programming ability Responsibilities Design, develop and test control systems for pulsed power facilities. Design, develop and test data acquisition systems. Design and assemble electronic circuits to control electrical systems. Design test set-up to diagnose and analyze the performance of electrical components, assemblies, and systems. Carry out applied research in the fields of electrical engineering. Write specifications and technical reports. Actively participate in team meetings, share insights, and collaborate with colleagues to drive innovation and problem-solving initiatives forward. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and comply with regulatory requirements governing our research activities. Additional requirements Must be able to travel and work extended hours/weekends as needed.
