Allient Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our London, Ontario location! The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's work processes, its long-term strategic goals, and its culture. Apply now!Responsibilities:
Consults with management to serve as an operational resource, providing HR guidance when appropriate.Analyzes and reports out to operational leaders and Corporate HR group, trends and metrics in partnership with Corporate HR to develop solutions, programs and policies.Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Including but not limited to effective, thorough and objective investigations utilizing standard processes.Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (e.G., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Works closely with management and employees to serve as communication conduit to improve work relationships, communication, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Processes personnel transactions through the HRIS that are not processed at the Shared Service Center.Implements Corporate HR programs, policies, and processes to ensure standardization and optimize efficiency.Coordinates, schedules, and provides training of employees in accordance with requirements and goals.Provides updates as to leave management and tracking of employees’ leave start and end dates.Approves salaried staff hours in payroll system and processing payroll on bi-weekly basisHelps with recruitment processes.Minimum Qualifications:
