We are currently recruiting for a **Material Control Coordinator **to join the Arcfield team in **Calgary. **Reporting to the Material Control Lead, you will use your knowledge of supply chain processes and excellent teamwork skills to assist the department in storing, handling, and distributing aviation components to support daily operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Issue and receipt parts into the warehouse inventory using custom software with great attention to detail
- Retrieve, handle and prepare orders for on-site staff or shipment
- Perform cycle counting and inventory control
- Process scrap requests and coordinate repair and disposal functions
- Support various other warehousing/stores related projects
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a warehouse and/or supply chain enviromnemt
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience using any database system (i.E. SAP or similar) for warehouse management
- Customer service focused with strong interpersonal skills and detail oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted on an infrequent basis
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with warehouse equipment such as lifts and pallet jacks
- Substantial knowledge of warehouse processes
- Experience with Canadian Armed Forces Supply Administation Manual and DRMIS
- Canadian Armed Forces Veteran with supply/logistic background is ideal
