The Role:
We're on the hunt for a Program Manager in our Geointelligence Team based in our Richmond, BC office.
As Program Manager in our Geointelligence team you will lead large teams of domain experts and software professionals on projects that are truly out of this World. You will lead projects like defining solutions to deep space problems, developing innovative imaging payloads and missions, or developing space domain awareness operations across the globe.
As a Project Manager you will lead your project team through to successful completion within Important Company's matrix engineering organization.
**Responsibilities**:
Project leadership, with overall project authority and responsibility
Delivery of contracted services meeting technical, budget and schedule requirements
Delivery of project objectives, revenue, profitability, cashflow
Project governance, establishing procedures for the implementation, delivery, and deployment of new or modified project elements
Customer relationship
Project risk and opportunity management
Preparation of monthly status reports to the Technical Authority
Preparation of quarterly status reports to the TA, Contract Authority and other stakeholders as specified
Management of inputs to internal monthly project review package. Report progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle
Collaboration with stakeholders and other project managers
Leadproject-related business development opportunities
Participation in project change management processes
Management of project-resourcing levels, collaborating with Engineering and Talent Acquisition
Collaboration and communication with Engineering, Contracts, Quality and Finance departments, in support project execution
Promotion of a continuous improvement culture to improve tools, systems and business processes
Contribution to Geointelligence business planning Annual Operating Plan, Strategic Growth Plan
Bid Management
Experience &
Skills:
A University degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Science, or other field from an accredited institution
5+ years of related project management experience with demonstrated commitment to success.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, persuasive yet diplomatic.
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive, team-friendly attitude
Willingness to learn
Able to work under pressure to meet time critical deadlines
Able to work within a large organization and understand dependencies and stakeholder needs
Assets:
Experience delivering RADAR and optical projects to government or commercial customers
Experience within earth observation, remote sensing missions, defence intelligence systems &
analyst domains
Experience in aerospace and space operations including operations development
Project management certification or working towards
Willingness to travel
