We are seeking a **Technical Solutions Analyst** Student** for our **North American Headquarters (NAHQ)** district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that is available for **8** months or 12 months** starting in **May 2023**. This is an in-person opportunity located in our Edmonton office.
As a **Technical Solutions Analyst** **Student**, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assists in the implementation of a project management software
- Assists in data migration and maintaining data integrity
- Assists in the development of software
- Gathers feedback from key project stakeholders
- Works in collaboration with team members, as well as completing individual work
- Gains exposure to cutting edge technology, including Microsoft Azure services and Power BI
**Qualifications**:
- Currently enrolled in a management information systems program, an information technology or computer engineering program, or an operations management program.
- Have a good understanding of software development lifecycle
- Have a good understanding of relational databases and knowledge of SQL
- Have a good understanding of software development, with exposure to C#, Python, Java, or Java Script
- Experience in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Expertise in MS Excel to manipulate data using macros, pivot tables and various functions such as MATCH, INDEX, CONCATENATE, COUNT, etc.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels in the organization
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
