Pro-Western Mechanical is a fast paced, mechanical company providing complete mechanical services for new construction of multi-dwelling residential, condos/apartments, town houses and light commercial/industrial. This role is based in Saskatoon!
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Updating policies and maintaining employee handbook
- Distributing annual policies for consent/signature, assisting in research.
- Send out monthly reporting for performance reviews.
- Assist with Comp reporting and budgeting.
- Provide support to employees in various topics:
leaves, compensation, and issues that arise.
- Assist management in maintaining performance reviews.
- Maintaining wage band
- Managing and implementing steps in the disciplinary process
- Sourcing/booking training (inc. safety
- may include sourcing eligible government grants)
- Tracking Apprenticeship status
- Assisting HR Recruitment - posting jobs ads, collecting new hire information and data entry.
- Assisting with event and fundraiser planning.
- Managing WCB claims
- Other duties as required.
**Skills and Abilities**
- Typing speed**:
Minimum **of 40 or more WPM (typing test to validate)
- The ability to persistently follow up on outstanding items.
- Understanding/proficient in Microsoft &
Google Suite
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to pay attention to details and produce timely results.
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organization, planning and time management skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the role
- A background in the mechanical industry is considered an asset.
- In person position (not remote)
Salary will be based on experience.
